Hello SPHM community, greetings from KC! I am a PT with my own ergonomic company. I teach a SPH course in the community for 6 hrs CEU credit on how healthcare providers can and should protect themselves. I have been doing this for 5 yrs now with good success. I am excited to engage and learn from this group!

Hello Dr. Rich,

Great to hear about your course. Safe patient handling should be course in every curriculum for direct care providers. We have numerous new graduates getting hurt doing incorrect things due to not being educated on the new equipment that's available.
